The Fair Pay Action Group is run entirely by unpaid volunteers, who do what they do because they believe in it.
If you would like to contribute to our efforts, then please consider donating money to our fund. However, even more valuable than your money is your time.
Running FPAG and fighting for fair pay is a time-consuming business. The active members of FPAG devote a great deal of their spare time to this project, and anything you can do to help us would be really appreciated.
What sort of help does FPAG need?
A better question would be, what sort of help don't we need! Here's a list of things we do - probably not even an exhaustive list!
- Administrative - Letter writing, record-keeping, photocopying, bulk printing, envelope-stuffing etc.
- Campaigning - Lobbying (letter writing, engaging and lobbying councillors, MP's and other individuals and organisations
- Campaigning - Organisational (promoting links with affected workers in other councils and public sector bodies
- Fundraising
- Graphic design (logos, posters, flyers)
- Information - collation, research, analysis (e.g. FOI data)
- IT - Administrative (Web updating, mailing list administration, user account admin, affiliated sites' advice/admin etc)
- IT - General, (Web design, associated back-end work, database work, data analysis)
- Legal - Research, interpretation.
- Organisation - Co-ordinating and communicating with active members and other bodies
- Public Relations (press releases, talking to reporters etc)
- Writing (creative)- speeches, web content, flyers, etc
- Writing (technical / legal) - Reports, analysis, FOI requests, other legal.
If you can help with any of the above, then we'd like to hear from you.
